The carrier's name 'M.A. Hoyte, Newquay' (possibly 'Mrs') is marked on the side of the van along with a poster advertising return tickets to either Falmouth for Falmouth Week or to Plymouth for Plymouth week (which ended on Saturday 16th July 1932). Probably taken in Fernhill Road. The carter standing with the horse, is Archie Morris, with his two daughters, Peggy and Joan, sitting next to him on the traces. His wife is partially visible behind the horse, and the lady in the garden behind the girls is a visitor. Photographer: Unknown.
