A group of nine sailors, three in wheel chairs. Photograph taken in the grounds of The Royal Naval Auxiliary Hospital, Truro. There are various cap badges being worn. HMS Nottingham was a Town Class light cruiser sunk by torpedoes in the North Sea on 19 August 1916. HMS Powerful was a troop transport and accommodation ship. HMS Impregnable was a training establishment and HMS Bonaventure was a submarine depot ship. HMS Vivid was a shore based facility at Devonport Dockyard. Photographer: Arthur William Jordan
