A gentleman and a young boy stand by the newly built pond and fountain at Victoria Gardens, with Isambard Kingdom Brunels original timber fanned viaduct in the background. This viaduct was replaced by an all stone structure which opened on 17th August 1902. Victoria Gardens was created to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria in 1897.
