The Wheel Inn, Tresillian, Cornwall. Early 1900s
Riverside Cottages are on the left of the photograph with the Mens Institute, built in 1893, on the right. Barrels are being delivered to the 14th century thatched inn by horse and cart. Draymen are standing by the delivery cart with two white horses eating from nosebags. A little girl is outside the row of cottages, with two ladies in the garden of the cottage next to the inn and a gentleman with a white beard standing outside the Mens Institute. Lines full of washing hanging out to dry are in the background. Photographer: Arthur William Jordan
