Characters of the Nativity ready to set off around Lostwithiel in a pageant organised by local historian and author Catherine Rachel John (right in the photograph). The group stopped off at various places to sing carols. This was the first of the Christmas Pageants which Miss John organised and was still running in a much increased form in 2017.
