The inner and outer harbour walls from the landward side with boats and men on the inner wall. The Prince of Wales Pier was about to be built, the foundation stone being laid on 5th September 1861. It was opened on 1st January 1862. Photographic print from the manuscript The History of Polperro by Thomas Q.
