Possibly Dartmoor ponies being viewed by a crowd. The fair was a Charter fair dating back to 1227 and was held at Lower Penhale. It moved to Summercourt in 1711. The fair was held on 25th September and was originally for cattle and horses. Photographer: Arthur William Jordan
