Hospital Day collection in Truro, Cornwall. 1910s
Collecting, probably for the Red Cross, during the First World War. The collecting box has " Hospital Day Collection" printed on it. The signs in the shop window, would suggest the shop is possibly a chemist (Wincarnis was a tonic wine and Allenburys Foods produced milk based products for children).
