Nine members of the Womens Land Army in working dress: possibly the first recruits that were trained at Tregavethan Farm, a Womens Land Army Training Centre. The names of the women are as follows: left to right, possibly Ms. Vera Dunfrane, Ms. Northey, Ms. Trejeweth, Ms. Nora Lock, Ms. I. Crowther, Ms. Dorothy Phyllis Martin, Ms. Brown, unknown, Mrs. Ford. The womens uniform consists of boots, gaiters, felt hats and pale fabric overalls. Photographer: Arthur William Jordan
