The Prince and Princess of Wales, later to become King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra, are pictured in the first skip to descend the inclined Boscawen Shaft down to the 235 fathom level. The Princess of Wales and Mr John St Aubyn of St Michaels Mount are seated at the front with Lady Elizabeth St Aubyn behind. The Vivians or Sutherlands are seated in the next row with the Prince of Wales behind them. Seated at the rear of the skip is brakesman Captain John Rowe. 10x8 Print in an MDF Wooden Frame with 180 gsm Satin Finish Paper. Glazed using shatter proof thin plexi glass. Frame thickness is 1 inch and depth 0.75 inch. Fluted cardboard backing held with clips. Supplied ready to hang with sawtooth hanger and rubber bumpers. Spot clean with a damp cloth. Packaged foam wrapped in a card.

Ready to Hang Contemporary Framed and Mounted Prints. To ensure the paper is held securely the visible picture may be marginally smaller than quoted.
