After a wait of 53 years, the uncrowned carnival queen of Fowey, Winifred Finding, finally had her day. She was chosen as queen in 1939 but missed out on her crowning when war broke out. The crowning ceremony took place in the grounds of Fowey Hall Hotel by Rusty Eplett, chairman of the Regatta Committee. Mrs Finding is pictured with one of her attendants, Phylis Newton. 10x8 Print in an MDF Wooden Frame with 180 gsm Satin Finish Paper. Glazed using shatter proof thin plexi glass. Frame thickness is 1 inch and depth 0.75 inch. Fluted cardboard backing held with clips. Supplied ready to hang with sawtooth hanger and rubber bumpers. Spot clean with a damp cloth. Packaged foam wrapped in a card.
