The Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher, on a visit to Fowey greeted by Mayor Hilda Court and her husband Clem, on Albert Quay. She spoke with other dignitaries and the crew of the Fowey Lifeboat. Whilst on a tour of the lifeboat, the crew had a shout so Mrs Thatcher went on the rescue with them. Photographer: Jonathan Barker
