The Basset Monument, built in 1836, on Carn Brea with adjoining rock outcrop. The 90 foot high granite monument was erected in memory of Francis Basset of Tehidy. He received his peerage as Baron de Dunstanville in 1780 for marching his miners to Plymouth where they made the marine fortifications safe during the French and Spanish Armada of 1779. 20x16 Print in an MDF Wooden Frame with 180 gsm Satin Finish Paper. Glazed using shatter proof thin plexiglass. Frame thickness is 1 inch and depth 0.75 inch. Fluted cardboard backing held with clips. Supplied ready to hang with sawtooth hanger and rubber bumpers. Spot clean with a damp cloth. Packaged foam wrapped in a card.
