Lostwithiels Duchy football team turned out in force to present the prizes for the balloon race the club arranged as part of the Rotary Club organised carnival in July. First prize for the furthest distance of a balloon went to Sarah Hutchings (centre) whose balloon reached Carlisle while second furthest went to Francis Doney (standing right of Sarah) whose balloon landed in Durham.
