Treryn Dinas, near Treen, St Levan, Cornwall. Around 1910
View from the landward side with a party of tourists visiting the Logan Rock, or rocking stone. A group can be seen at the base of the rock with others on top. Perched 30 metres above the sea, the naturally occurring piece of granite attracted tourists due to its ability to rock back and forth on the cliff top with the slightest touch. It was dislodged by a group of sailors in 1824 who were then forced to reposition it at their own expense. The headland of Treryn Dinas is also the site of an Iron Age promontory fort. 10x8 Print in an MDF Wooden Frame with 180 gsm Satin Finish Paper. Glazed using shatter proof thin plexi glass. Frame thickness is 1 inch and depth 0.75 inch. Fluted cardboard backing held with clips. Supplied ready to hang with sawtooth hanger and rubber bumpers. Spot clean with a damp cloth. Packaged foam wrapped in a card.
