Framed Photos From Royal Cornwall Museum

Unidentified building under construction, possibly the HTP warehouse on Malpas Road, Truro Cornwall. Early 1900s

Three men are standing on the scaffolding in the foreground with two further men in the distance. The same three men appear to be in a photograph of the Malpas Road warehouse being built for HTP (Hosken, Trevithick and Polkinhorn), who were agricultural and grain merchants. The architect of the HTP warehouse was Alfred J. Cornelius and the building was completed in 1911. It was later converted into 9 apartments as part of the Poltisco Wharf development.
