The Huers Hut, Newquay, Cornwall. Early 1900s
A view of the Huers Hut. The hut provided shelter for the Huer, a man who spotted large shoals of fish, often pilchards. He then sounded his horn and shouted " Heva, Heva" ( Here they are)
