Visit to Fowey by Prime Minister, Cornwall. June 1990
Visiting Fowey in June 1990, Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher met some of the RNLI crew and went for a trip around Fowey harbour in the lifeboat. She watched a mock rescue, from the lifeboat to the RNAS Culdrose helicopter, from the shore at Albert Quay. The lifeboat used was Faithful Forrester, on loan to Fowey from Dover.
