The French three-masted barque Magatlan, Falmouth Harbour, Cornwall. May 1905

The wooden three-masted French registered barque Magatlan brought to Falmouth harbour after being abandoned at sea and picked up by a British steamer. She was found dismasted and abandoned off the Ile Elenau on 17th May 1905. The steamer towed her into Falmouth where she was sold and taken to Gravelines to be broken up. Photographer: Unknown
