Regatta and Carnival Week, Fowey, Cornwall. August 1993
The giant pasty, which is baked in Polruan, is paraded through the streets of the village and taken by harbour tug across Fowey harbour. Members of the town band escort it, who this year are dressed as Chelsea pensioners. The pasty will be cut up and distributed to all children who turned up for Fowey regatta week.
