Fishing fleet in the Hayle Estuary, Lelant, Cornwall. Early 1900s

View of the fishing fleet, under full sail, leaving the Hayle Estuary at high tide. Some vessels are using their large oars or sweeps to move the boat away from the shore to catch the wind. The Lelant ferry landing place is on the left looking out to sea. Photographer: Unknown
