St Petroc Minor Church interior, Little Petherick, Cornwall. 1968
View of the nave looking south-east, showing the rood screen and pews with vaulted ceiling. The church is a Grade I listed building with 14th century origins. It underwent restoration in 1858 by William White and in 1908 by Sir Ninian Comper. Compers restoration work included the addition of the high altar, reredos and rood screen with loft. The rood screen was carved by John Parsons of St Teath and decorated by artists under H.A. Bernard Smith. Photographer: Charles Woolf
