The Castle class steam locomotive, Clun Castle, stops in Lostwithiel to take on water. Crowds of people lined the platform to watch. The 4-6-0 Castle class locos, designed by Charles Collett and built between 1923 and 1950, operated on the Great Western mainline. In the 2010s Clun Castle went through a complete overhaul, with a refurbished boiler installed in 2016. Photographer: Jonathan Barker
