Flooding, Queen Street, Lostwithiel, Cornwall. November 1986
Clearing up after flooding affected Queen Street, Lostwithiel. The leat which runs beside and underneath Tanhouse Road and South Street to the River Fowey was blocked with silt and debris after heavy rains. The worst affected shop premises were the Baron Restaurant, Patterson Antiques and Stick shoe shop. The flood held up traffic from the St Austell and Liskeard directions for the whole of the day.
