Lorry crash, Lostwithiel, Cornwall. May 1985
A container lorry crashed in Queen Street, destroying the facades of the Baron Restaurant and Pattersons antique shop. A crane lorry pulled out the truck the next day. There have been many lorry crashes over the years before weight restrictions were placed on them at Nomansland at the top of the steep hill into the town. The driver of the lorry survived.
