The 60th anniversary of the Women's Institute in Lostwithiel was celebrated with a dinner at the Restormel Lodge Hotel in the town. Front row first left: Doris Liddicoat (Founder Member); centre: Gwen Powell-Jones (Mayor); third from right: Ida Keast (Chairman); second from right: Kristen Arundel (National WI member). Special mention was made that Doris Liddicoat and Joy Foot had been county chairmen. Also two members had been lady Mayors of the town, Doris Liddicoat and Gwen Powell-Jones.
