Music Shop Noise, Queen Street, Lostwithiel, Cornwall. April 1992
Michael Ransley, who owns instrument making premises in Queen Street, has been forced to move out because of constant road works outside his shop. Mike is a specialist in baroque recorders and has been unable to tune his instruments for months. At one point the vibrations caused valuable violins to fall of his shop wall. He would like to stay in Lostwithiel but is looking in other nearby towns to set up a new business. Michael is pictured with his assistant, Naomi Guy, holding a bassoon. Photographer: Jonathan Barker
