Restormel Castle, Lanlivery Parish, Cornwall. September 1989
Celebrating the Restoration of the monarchy are flower girls and dancers, during the Pageant of History of Lostwithiel 1189 to 1989. The child on stilts is Ruth Webb with her mother Frances behind. Over 2, 500 people watched the pageant held in the grounds of Restormel Castle. 144 of the towns residents took part in the plays, which commemorated 800 years of the town being granted a Charter.
