Over 50 members of the Taprell family from America, Australia, Switzerland and Britain gathered for the opening of their forebears refurbished house in Lostwithiel. During the 17th century several Taprells were mayors of the town. The renovations have created a Methodist Church, a public library, an exhibition space and meeting rooms.
