John Saundry (in checked shirt) accompanied by his son Tristan, and around 30 fellow marchers, proclaims a piece of land in Tanhouse Road tin bound. This meant that the boundaries were marked, preparatory to mining tin, and sets up a legal right to mine the unworked tin under a piece of waste land, on paying royalty to the owner.
