Medros Farmhouse and Methrose Farmhouse, Luxulyan, Cornwall. 1959
A view of the farmhouse and courtyard walls. The courtyard walls are attached to the south and east of Medros Farmhouse and Methrose Farmhouse. The courtyard walls are built from granite rubble, faced in granite ashlar, and date from the mid 17th century. An octagonal granite font, probably of medieval origin, is situated in the courtyard. It is said to have been used by John Wesley for baptisms in the 18th century. Photographer: Charles Woolf
