A view of the Huers Hut. The hut provided shelter for the Huer, a man who spotted large shoals of fish, more often than not pilchards. He then sounded his horn and shouted " Heva, Heva" ( Here they are), to alert the fishermen in the harbour. Photographer: Herbert Hughes
