Children playing on the beach. The boat 'Telegraph', in the centre, was owned by local man W.R. Guy and registered in Padstow. The 32-ton smack was built at Port Gaverne in 1859 and was lost in the mouth of River Taw, North Devon. Photographer: John Charles Burrow.
