Alverton House Lodge exterior with two ladies. The oldest part of the house dates from 1830 and was built for William Tweedy of Truro Vean. From 1883 to 1983 the house was the Home of the Community of the Epiphany. The chapel was built during this time. In 1984 Alverton became a hotel. Photographer: Arthur Philp
