The Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwall (later to become King Edward VIII) with a crowd outside City Hall. During his visit to Truro, he officially opened the Royal Institution of Cornwall's Museum building in River Street and visited the Royal Cornwall Show which was held at Higher Newham Farm.
