The Leats, Truro, Cornwall. After 1902
View along The Leats looking towards the Carvedras viaduct, from the east entrance to Victoria Gardens. The all stone structure replaced Isambard Kingdom Brunels original timber fanned viaduct in 1902. A man is standing on the bridge at the entrance to the gardens. St Georges Methodist Chapel can just be seen through the trees, on the left. Victoria Gardens was created to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria in 1897. Photographer: Unknown
