Waterfall Gardens, Truro, Cornwall. After 1902
Waterfall Gardens with the Parish Church of St George the Martyr on the left and the new Carvedras Viaduct on the right. The all stone structure replaced Brunels original timber fanned viaduct (with stone piers) in 1902. A train can be seen on the viaduct. Waterfall Gardens opened in 1893 and were later incorporated into Victoria Gardens, created to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria in 1897. Photographer: Arthur William Jordan
