Daymark Tower, Gribbin Head, Tywardreath, Cornwall. 1976
View shows the daymark tower on Gribbin Head. The Gribbin Tower is a square beacon erected by Trinity House in 1832. It was never lighted but is painted in red and white bands as a daymark to make navigation into Fowey and the harbours of St Austell bay safer. It became a Grade II listed building in 1974 and is now managed by the National Trust. Photographer: Charles Woolf
