Rashleigh almshouses, Polmear, Tywardreath, Cornwall, 1979
Almshouses after renovation. Originally built about 1800 by William Rashleigh as four cottages. Extended in the 19th century by three more cottages and in 1855 a small hospital block was added. Restored in 1977-8 when the seven almshouses were converted to three cottages with extensions at the back. Photographer: Charles Woolf
