Casabianca under construction, St Ives, Cornwall. 1877

The Casabianca of Shoreham, Sussex, under construction in St Ives harbour. A large pennant bearing the ships name is being flown from the main mast. It is thought that the builder may have been William Williams. The 34 ton ketch (no.74744) was built in St Ives in 1877 and registered at Yarmouth. Photographer: Edward Ashton
