Candidates in the Fowey Community Schools Election 92, held as part of BBC Newsround programme in which schools across the country held their own debates and elections. Candidates were, from left to right: Kirsten Freemantle, Green Party; Stephen Gilbert, Liberal Democrats; Clare Marsh, Conservative; Samuel Dyke, Labour; James Mason, Mebyon Kernow. Stephen Gilbert was elected at the 2010 general election as the Member of Parliament for the new constituency of St Austell and Newquay, but lost his seat at the 2015 general election to the Conservative Party candidate Steve Double.
