Lostwithiel Pageant, Cornwall. December 1985
By 1985 the Lostwithiel Christmas Pageant had grown to around 30 members. It was started in 1980 by local historian, writer and Cornish speaker Catherine Rachel John and used the shelter on the Parade to gather. Now meeting in the Community Centre, the group processed around the town singing carols accompanied by the town band. The male adults in the group represented various Cornish saints.
