Boscawen Street view from west end looking east, Truro, Cornwall. Pre 1891

The photograph is dated as pre 1891 as in June 1891 the furniture and carpet store of N. Gill and Son moved to premises on the opposite side of Boscawen Street (Number 13). The Victorian Coinage Hall, built on the site of the original 14th century stannary building, can be seen in the centre. The slide has been hand coloured to look like night time.
