His father, Samuel Govier, is standing in the van doorway with a dog and his mother, Annie, is facing the cottage. His sister, Bessie (who later became Mrs Bessie Olver) is though to be standing next to the horse and trap on the right hand side of the photograph. Photograph from the Govier family album.
