Flooding, Queen Street, Lostwithiel, Cornwall. November 1986
The aftermath of the floods in Queen Street, Lostwithiel, resulted in a group meeting to investigate the problem. At the corner of Tanhouse Road and Queen Street are (from left to right) David Patterson and Graham Mitson (shopkeepers badly affected by the floods who with others formed the Lostwithiel Flood Action Group); Ida Keast, Mayor; Ted Vincent, acting Cornwall Divisional Surveyor; Harry Kerr, Cornwall Councillor Lostwithiel Area, and Robert Hicks, MP for South East Cornwall.
