Capillary chalcopyrite with malachite. This specimen was drawn for Specimens of British Minerals, Selected from the Cabinet of Philip Rashleigh (1797, Volume 1, Plate 6, Figure 5) which states Is crystallized yellow copper ore, like bits of brass wire on the surface of a stone of copper ore, with a vein of quartz dividing the stone. From the Pool mine, in Illogan parish. Chalcopyrite is an important copper ore. Rashleigh Collection
