The Parade, from Barras Place or West Street, looking towards Pike Street and Webbs Hotel, Liskeard, Cornwall. 1969
Looking from Barras Place, or West Street, across The Parade, to Barclays Bank, Pike Street and Webbs Hotel. The bank and hotel are both Grade II listed buildings and were built in 1851 and 1833 respectively. The clock tower of the Guildhall can be seen in the distance. The black car on the left is turning along in to Greenbank Road. The fountain, seen on the right, was designed by architect Henry Rice in 1871. Photographer: Charles Woolf
