Reconstruction of shop premises at 2 East Street on the corner of East Street and Marcus Hill. The builders carrying out the work are W.C. Pearce and Sons (Contractors) Ltd. Four men are on the site. Miners Ltd, Confectioners and Tobacconists, occupy the adjacent premises at 4 East Street. In 2019, 2 East Street was occupied by Oggy Oggy the Pasty Company and 4 East Street was occupied by the coffee shop Prego Prego. Photographer: Charles Woolf
