Waterfall Gardens, Truro, Cornwall. After 1902
Two young children standing on the bridge by the waterfall in Waterfall Gardens. The stone piers of the new Carvedras Viaduct are visible in the background. The all stone structure replaced Brunels original timber fanned viaduct (with stone piers) in 1902. Waterfall Gardens opened in 1893 and were later incorporated into Victoria Gardens, created to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria in 1897. Photographer: Arthur William Jordan
